The Moco Museum Barcelona (Modern & Contemporary Museum) is an independent museum dedicated to making modern, contemporary and digital art accessible to a broad and diverse audience. Founded in 2016 by Kim and Lionel Logchies, the Moco project was created with the aim of offering an accessible and thought-provoking perspective on the main artistic movements of the 20th and 21st centuries.
With locations in Amsterdam, Barcelona and London, the museum presents a carefully curated selection of iconic works alongside proposals by emerging artists, combining classical visual languages with new forms of expression linked to digital art and immersive experiences. The collection includes works by internationally renowned artists such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Banksy, KAWS, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama, as well as installations by the collective Studio Irma.
Since its opening, the Moco Museum has welcomed millions of visitors from around the world and has established itself as a dynamic cultural space that encourages reflection on art, society and contemporary values, in a unique setting in the very heart of Barcelona.
