Moco Museum
If you're lovers of contemporary art and technology, we recommend a visit to Barcelona's MOCO Museum. This is an innovative space showcasing the best works by leading international modern artists, such as Murakami, Warhol, Basquiat, Dalí, KAWS, Haring, Hirst and Kusama.
The MOCO Museum is a private initiative created by Lionel and Kim Logchies. A groundbreaking artistic proposal that seeks to challenge the norms, open our minds and question everything around us.
One of the highlights is the digital art space TeamLab, the first one in Europe dedicated to the NFT (non-fungible token) phenomenon. It has immersive exhibits produced using digital technology, including Studio Irma's Les Fantômes and Diamond Matrix. With the latter, you can immerse yourself in a labyrinth of mirrors and pieces of hanging glass that change colour.
The Modern Contemporary Museum (MOCO) already has a base in Amsterdam and recently opened in Barcelona. It is housed in the Palau Cervelló, a historic 16th-century building with an incredible Gothic façade and Renaissance-style architectural details which was the home of the noble Cervelló family.
In short, the MOCO Museum is a unique multisensory experience that shows us the future of digital art. An amazing fusion of art and technology that won’t fail to impress.
