  Jordi Colomer Façana Foto Festa Futur Fideus MACBA

  The collective life of cities is the axis on which Jordi Colomer's work pivots. Through a large-scale scenic dimension, the artist explores the relationship between imagination and reality using a variety of formats including sculpture, collages, photography, video, installations and live action. Organised into a series of scenes that do not follow a chronological order, Façana Foto Festa Futur Fideus brings together vastly disparate works to talk about the simultaneity, fragility and diversity of communities.

  Regata Cultural

  The Louis Vuitton 37ª America's Cup is the city's greatest sporting event of 2024. To mark the occasion, several local organizations, institutions, and facilities are organizing a Cultural Regatta. In the months before, during, and after the America's Cup, the city will be filled with cultural, artistic, culinary, scientific, and leisure activities open to both residents and visitors. These will include talks, exhibitions, art installations, shows, family activities, and much more at different venues around the city. In addition, the Port Olímpic, the venue for the America's Cup, will be reborn as a new urban space to host some of the activities.

  The Catalan radio and television stations, TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio, celebrate 40 years of existence. The Design Museum of Barcelona reviews their journey and offers a glimpse into the future of the media in Catalan in the exhibition Connectem (Let's Connect). Thus, the exhibition examines the role of these two media in shaping collective identity, while also making a strong commitment to digital technologies and artificial intelligence to highlight the innovative approach of TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio since their inception.

  If there is one type of photography that is common to everyone, it is undoubtedly the so-called family photography. It originates in the nuclear family and usually helps strengthen family bonds. The exhibition Family, friends and photography at the Photographic Archive of Barcelona highlights family photography and its symbolism with amateur photographs as well as photographs by professional photographers with their families or as part of creative projects.

  The awakening of the myth Gala Dalí La Roca Village

  Often relegated to a cliché by the prevailing patriarchal discourse, Gala, who was first a muse to Paul Éluard and then to Salvador Dalí, was frequently overshadowed as the sole woman in a male-dominated environment. However, Gala was a fierce, elusive and enigmatic woman, who equally fascinated and unsettled those around her. This exhibition offers the opportunity to get to know her through fashion. It is organized in three seasons and showcases some of the iconic outfits and dresses worn by Gala, created by designers such as Givenchy, Pierre Cardin, and Christian Dior.

  An unknown city in the fog New images of Barcelona's neighborhoods MACBA

  From the post-Olympic era to the present day, the outskirts of the city have grown, transformed and hosted Barcelona's most innovative projects. This photographic exhibition explores these changes and offers a glimpse of how the city will evolve in the years to come. Based on thirteen commissions, mostly photographs and some videos, the exhibition travels through the different outer districts with works by authors from diverse backgrounds, ages and generations.

  This exhibition explores the relationship between music and mathematics. Through a sonic journey that begins with absolute silence, visitors can discover the soounds of nature, the music of matter, the recurring mathematical patterns in a melody, and even the sound of the universe.

  Tàpies Art and activism

  Throughout his life, Antoni Tàpies remained committed to various social causes in favor of human rights. His avant-garde, utopian and transformative spirit led him to take an active part in political action during the Franco regime, supporting Catalan social and political movements, and during the democratic era to show solidarity with international causes from a modern and progressive standpoint. Now, the History Museum of Catalonia is bringing together a wide selection of the artist's works and unpublished documentary material to portray his tireless activism.

  Agnès Varda Photographing filming recycling

  Agnès Varda (1928-2019) was one of the few women of her generation to become an established filmmaker. With more than 40 titles, including short and feature films, Varda stands out for her rhetoric firmly rooted in her time, with the aesthetics of the modernist Nouvelle Vague, and for her ability to discover and grasp the possibilities of the digital image when it first appeared. Now, the Centre de Cultura Contemporània - CCCB - is presenting her entire oeuvre. In this exhibition, we can appreciate her mastery of technique, her sense of detail and her great rigor in composition.
